Giving a Hand Up to Kansas City’s Homeless Veterans Since 1993
A two-day event for homeless veterans providing short-term and long-term resources needed to begin rebuilding their lives. Friday and Saturday, June 6-7, 2008 Registration times: Fri. 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Sat. 7:30 am - 11:30 am Manual Career Tech Center 1215 East Truman Road, KCMO (off I-70, between Troost and Lydia Ave.) On any given night, there are 1800 Homeless Veterans in Kansas City. We believe that those who served our country honorably should not be forgotten! ▪ Legal Services ▪ Health and Medical Services ▪ VA Benefits Counseling ▪ ID Cards ▪ IRS ▪Educational and Vocational Services ▪ Social Security ▪ Clothing Distribution ▪ Meal Service ** Pre-registration required to receive legal services. Pre-register for legal service at the Vet Center, 301 E. Armour Blvd. Ste. 305, KCMO. No legal service registrations will be taken after 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
